Plot[]

As Hacker struggles to find another way to wreak havoc in Cyberspace, Buzz and Delete are busy cleaning the Grim Wreaker with a new garbage sweeper. This made Hacker to come up with a new plan: pollute Cyberspace with dangerous cyberstatic. Being aware that Dr. Marbles has created four satellites designed to keep everything free from cyberstatic, Hacker reversed all of the satellites to spread out cyberstatic through many cybersites while assigning Buzz and Delete to track down and capture the Cybersquad in case they would try to restore the satellites.

While being assigned to fix the satellites, the kids learned from Digit that Marbles use balance scales and weights to put in the correct numbers. With this information, the Cybersquad managed to fix the first three satellites and clean up the cyberstatic. When they reach to the fourth one (which is releasing the most dangerous cyberstatic on Control Central), Hacker prevents them from gaining access while revealing that the first three satellites were decoys to keep them busy. However, Hacker ends up being accidentally sweeped up by Buzz and Delete in a failed attempt to stop the kids, breaking the balance scale in the process. Despite this, Digit and the Cybersquad manage to deduce the right numbers to gain access and fix the fourth satellite, thus saving Motherboard and cleaning up Cyberspace for good.

Memorable quotes[]

Buzz: You're a genius, boss! [laughs]

Delete: And smart, too!

Trivia[]

This is the first time Digit calls Inez "Nezzie," but she doesn't brush him off for it.

Extras[]

  • Math topic: "A Battle of Equals" focuses on balancing equations and how both sides of a scale must be the same, which can help you find the quantity of an unknown.
  • For Reals segment: "Bianca's Corny Act" - Bianca and Tracy are making popcorn balls for a school picnic. But when they make a mountain of popcorn, Bianca realizes they used 10 cups of unpopped popcorn when the recipe called for 10 cups of popped popcorn. Writing the recipe as an equation helps them understand how to adjust the ingredients accordingly.
