Scanner is a character who appears in "Fit To Be Heroes", "A Reboot Eve to Remember", and "Frog Fight". While Digit takes him on a tour of Motherboard Control Central, they find a template for a prototype of the Encryptor Chip. Scanner helps the CyberSquad collect the ingredients and create the chip.

Scanner is initially distracted by electronics such as his headphones and portable game console. Jackie tries to instill the value of exercise in him. By the end of the episode, Scanner's priorities have shifted and he doesn't seem very upset when his console breaks.
